We dispatch live, which means the timing of your order matters more to us than it does for most online shops. Here is everything you need to know before you order.

Delivery Options

Standard Delivery - Royal Mail Tracked 24 from £4.95

Most orders arrive the next working day after dispatch. Royal Mail Tracked 24 is our standard service for live foods, dry goods and liquid products. Full tracking is provided. Please allow up to two working days if delays occur.

DPD Next-Day Courier from £9.95

Specialist courier handling with next-day delivery after dispatch. Tracking updates provided by email and SMS. Recommended for larger orders or customers who need guaranteed next-day arrival.

Dispatch Days and Order Cutoff

We do not dispatch on Wednesdays, Fridays, weekends or bank holidays. This ensures your order does not sit in a courier depot over a weekend and arrive in poor condition. Our packaging keeps live food viable for up to five days in transit under normal conditions.

Free Delivery on Orders Over £65 - Ships in 2-3 working days

Free delivery is available on all mainland UK orders over £65, dispatched via Royal Mail Tracked 24. Most orders arrive the next working day after dispatch.

Free delivery is not available for the following postcodes: Scottish Highlands (AB, IV, KW, PH), Scottish Islands (HS, KA27-28, PA20-49, PA60-78, ZE), Northern Ireland (BT), Isle of Man (IM), Channel Islands (GY, JE), Scilly Isles (TR21-25) and Isle of Wight (PO30-41). If you are in one of these areas, standard delivery charges apply at checkout.

Frozen Orders

Frozen products may require a polystyrene insulated box to maintain temperature in transit. Where applicable, a £4.95 packaging surcharge is added automatically at checkout.

Packaging

We use eco-friendly recycled packaging across our range. Live food orders are packed to maintain viability throughout transit, with oxygenated packaging for live cultures.
